Essentially, this is how all of my sketching first got started. Urban Sketching means sketching something or someone in person, "from life"! It involves sketching in the moment, with all of the challenges that that can bring like weather and people moving.

 Carrying paper and a small set of tools with me wherever I go has given me plenty of opportunities to sketch things that I otherwise maybe wouldn't have. 

People, concerts, buildings, nature, games, and activities of all kinds can be sketched live. These sketches are meant to capture the moment and might not be technically perfect.
