Nope! While I absolutely LOVE sketching live, in front of whatever it is that I'm capturing, I also do plenty of sketching at home with my desk and large watercolor palette. As long as I can get a picture of the subject, I can sketch things that are located anywhere. This is especially important for sketching loved ones, pets, and buildings that may no longer be with us or able to be sketched in person.

I tend to sketch small, especially when I'm sketching outside! My favorite sizes are 3x5, 4x6, and 5x7.
I also offer tiny sketches of up to 2 people or animals in 2x2!

Prices for live sketching varies based on things like number of hours, types and size of sketches, location, etc. Please feel free to reach out to discuss.
Tiny Sketches (2x2 inches): $15; up to two people and/or pets or one building
3x5: $35
4x6: $50
5x7: $60
These prices are based on up to two people/pets. Additional people or pets can be added for another $10.

Anything and everything! Here are three: a sea turtle in person, a marathon, and a wedding cake.

Caricatures exaggerate different features, often to be funny. My sketching doesn't exaggerate anything, it's just cartoon-y! People that might be uncomfortable with the idea of a caricature might like this instead.

Definitely! I'm based in Metro Detroit, Michigan. Depending on where I need to travel, there may be a travel fee.
